Course Topics/Overview Students must have 1 year of World History OR 1 year of Geography & History of the World to graduate Semester 1 – Prehistory to Age of Exploration Semester 2 – Scientific Revolution to Present day Topics covered include Early Man, Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Greece & Rome, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Scientific Revolution, WWI, & WWII

Keys to Success Attendance Responsibility Have all necessary materials in class – Textbook, Chromebook, Notebook, Folder, and Pen/Pencil Ask for missed work Use time wisely Complete homework assignments Study Guide – covers what they need to know for the test Students receive a Study Guide for each chapter Vocabulary – every word from study guide will be on test Other sections of the study guide will cover people to know, events, etc.
