Teledermatology – GO LIVE 1ST JUNE 2018 Purchased 260 dermatoscopes and ipods for general practice Provided a fully IG compliant system for taking and storing images Produced a full support pack for practices which includes: - Training video Equipment Allocation and Usage Policy Standard Operating Process (SOP) ‘How to Guide’ for admin staff Tested the safe and secure transfer of images between general practice and LTHT Developed a new 2ww referral form for teledermatology

Teledermatology – Key Messages Don’t forget to pick up and sign for your kit as you leave today Launch date is June 1st, after which you will be expected to take the images, attach them to the new referral form and make the referral using e-RS to the Referral Assessment Service (RAS) Don’t forget to make sure you get patient consent and record this on the referral form.
