Main Clauseفقرة رئيسية جمل شرطية باستخدام ( إذا/ لو أن If) للمواقف الخيالية (الغير حقيقية). (اذا / لو) (مواقف خيالية) نستخدم الجمل الشرطية للتحدث عن مواقف خيالية او فرضيات غير حقيقية يستخدم زمن الماضي البسيط في فقرة (إذا/ لو أن If) الشرطية وتستخدم (يود أنWould ) في الفقرة الرئيسية. (عند الرغبة في القيام بعمل ما بنسبة 90 % تقريباً) If Clause فقرة اذا/ لو Main Clauseفقرة رئيسية يمكن اختصار( would /’d) مع الضمائر(الفاعل) كتالي ( (I’d, you’d, he’d, she’d, we’d, they’d جمل شرطية باستخدام ( ربما أن Might) 30% / و ( يمكن أنCould ) 70% (ربما أن Might) يمكن ان تحل محل (يود أن Would) وتعبر عن الاحتمالية (الإمكانية).
