Big part is education, when, where, how, what type of hearing protection. Units requests fitting of hearing protection. Recruiting number of individuals who I retest or test because of hearing loss. Respiratory Protection Program - Make sure our soldiers do not have a false sense of security. Corrosive material - gas mask Class 2 kit? Hazard Communication Program - Will talk more about Medical Surveillance - largest program element, most time consuming and costly. Interfaces with all other programs. On the m-day side soldiers working with radioactive commodities like MC1 need have baseline and period screening. OWCP/Case Management - LOD - Medical questions on different diagnosis. Unfortunately, if a soldier is injured we can not put them on light duty after AT. Ergonomics - new program mandated January 98 - Chapter in WIARNG 385-10 Fitting the workplace to the individual - not just the office setting PPE - knowing what, when how and where PPE should be worn.
