Bayside Academy Bayside Academy is One School with Two Interconnected Programs STEAM program (K-5) on the West side of campus STEM program (6-8) is a fully functional middle school on the East side of campus

School Programs Annex Program - for K-5th (before & after school) School Lunch Program – Hot lunches are available for purchase for kindergartners enrolled in Annex After School Care Program and students in grades 1-5 (Our free or reduced lunch program is available by application.) Reading Intervention Teacher – Intervention for struggling readers Art club – for 5th graders
Specialized Programs English Learner Program – provide services for students learning English through integrated and designated instruction in the general education classroom Special Education – RSP students are usually pulled out for small group assistance from a resource teacher for a 30 minute block of time a day.

What should my child know to be prepared for Kindergarten? Pre-school experience helpful Be able to write name or recognize name Know letters and some sounds Sit for 5 to 10 minutes Follow simple directions Attend to bathroom needs
How do I apply for STEAM at Bayside? Once the transfer window opens on December 4th, you will apply for a transfer to STEAM Bayside Academy. Transfer window closes on December 21st. Approval letters are emailed home February 2nd. Once you have approval, you come to Bayside to complete registration process in the Spring.
