Background GTE announced the intention to develop the Transparency Platform at the Madrid Forum XII in February 2007 Consultation with stakeholders followed Workshop in May 2007 Bilateral meetings (ERGEG - EFET - Eurelectric - Eurogas) TP contents as finalised presented at the Madrid Forum XIII in October 2007 Tender procedure (Jan-Apr) Participation of 4 IT providers ECG Erdgas Consult approved as the winner (Apr) Development of the Transparency Platform has started

Objectives To develop a user-friendly IT tool allowing market participants to find relevant information regarding transport of gas across Europe on a single site To present the information in an organised and structured way To integrate the existing GTE IT tools (Interactive Map) with the TP
