Tips on Giving Oral Presentation

Things to do before a speech Decide on the topic of your choice. Research on your topic Determine how long you are going to speak. Use notes Decide on visual aids to use Structure your speech(intro, body, closing) Practice.

Things to Remember when Giving an Oral Presentation Wear attire fit for the occasion. Look alert and self-assured. Keep audience interested by applying vocal variety. Observe eye contact. Choose and use few gestures. Adopt balance posture. Relax

Helpful Tips in Using Visual Aids Stand to one side of your visual aid. Show visuals only when you are talking about them. Use the hand closest to the visual aid. Allow enough time for the audience to see your visuals. Do not overdo the use of your visuals. Pass objects at your risk. Practice.
