Motivation The WMO Online Course for Trainers supports the WMO Competency Requirements for Education and Training Providers The course is a great success thanks to so many great volunteer facilitators (25!) and participants (150!) Course has been offered in 4 languages We want to make the numerous course resources available 24/7/365 for all WMO Members (and anyone else)

Source Almost 15 contributors, many here at CALMet Well researched, solid foundation, and based on years of experience Funding by WMO and Eumetcal (thanks Alessandro!) Generous support for the development time by WMO Director of Education and Training (Jeff Wilson and Yinka Adebayo)

Future Can be used by anyone to build their own course, or for self-directed learning Can be available soon in 4 languages: Spanish, French, Russian, English Will not replace the guided course, but provides alternative paths Provides the definitive, up-to-date repository of course resources for future courses
