KEEN Student Mini Grant Example iGem Competition Funded team of bio-medical engineering students to attend and compete in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition which addresses global medical challenges. Students use scientific outreach and research, connect with experts in the field to combine knowledge from many sources in preparing their prototype. Value is created as students tackle real-world medical issues.
