Force Preservation Councils As directed by HQMC, MFR units conduct FPCs on a semi-annual basis. Feed back from units vary. 4th MARDIV Units – “waste of time, this is small unit leadership” 4th MLG Units – mixed bag of mostly pluses and some minuses. 4th MAW Units – “We are doing this already. No problem.” MFR conducts a FPC at the headquarters to manage the program and offer guidance to subordinate units.
