Writing Groups: feedback “it gave me the spur to complete the grant application to the deadline… I found the network to be very supportive and received feedback quite quickly (within 2 weeks) which was much faster than the RDS which took 6 weeks to provide feedback…” “the funding was invaluable in enabling team members to work together face-to-face… it made a significant difference to the way the lay members were able to be involved in the process…” “the credibility which this type of development grant brings, should not be under-estimated. .. It is an encouragement to the participants and also gives a degree of external legitimacy… it does provide a built-in obligation to keep going when things get a bit sticky...”
