I can define library vocabulary words.

Library A place that holds books, music, magazines, and more for people to borrow and enjoy.

Book Pages of paper put together with words written on them that a person can read.

Writes the words in a story. Author Writes the words in a story.

Illustrator Draws the pictures in a story.

Setting Where the story takes place.

A person, animal, or creature in the story. Character A person, animal, or creature in the story.

A type of writing that is made up by the author’s imagination. Fiction A type of writing that is made up by the author’s imagination.

Index A list in alphabetical order with references to where the subject can be found.
