Why are graphs useful?

Remember in grade 7….. 1) A question is asked. How did you collect data? 1) A question is asked. What kind of ice cream does everyone like in our class? A survey is made.

Then a Bar graph was made.

A pie chart could have been made.

Or a picto gram

And finally a scattered plot

Let me ask you some questions How many people like vanilla? Which flavor is preferred the most? Which flavor is prefferd the least?

Vocabulary Variation: How is the graph changing. Is it increasing Is it decreasing

Vocabulary Relation: A relationship between 2 things Example: Distance vs time Cost vs time
