How do I know if I am teaching a statewide course? Check with your DE Coordinator Check on Infonet

Why are these courses standardized? Increase quality Reduce redundant development Attention to Faculty/Student relationship over Course Design

How are these courses developed? Course Development Committtee Regional Representation Librarian Instructional Designer Major Design Decisions Textbook Assignments Assessments Course Policies

How do I get started? Speak to your DE Coordinator Look at the Instructor Guide Enroll in the Organization Site

What can’t I change? Any assessments. Course presentation should remain consistent.

What can I change in the course? Items that personalize the course. You may add clarifying material. Announcements Lecture Notes Podcasts Etc.

What if there are errors in the course? Fix minor problems and report them in the Organization site. Report all major issues to your DE coordinator and the Center for Instructional Technology. rmorse5@ivytech.edu
