When? During your normal class time
How Long? 10-12 minutes per pair Equal speaking time Equal demonstration time Equal interaction with the class In other words, both team members must contribute equally to preparing their micro-lesson!

Lesson Step #1 Introduction Welcome the students Introduce yourself Tell the game name Write the name on the board
Lesson Step #2 Practice key: (before giving game directions) Vocabulary Expressions Sentences
Lesson Step #3 Preparation Create groups Hand out materials (ex. game boards, dice etc.)
Lesson Step #4 Game Overview Explain: the goal… the purpose... how to win… the game
Lesson Step #5 Directions Explain how to play Demonstrate before starting Ask comprehension questions * Get students involved by asking for volunteers to help demonstrate.
