Self-Care Self-care is engaging in activities or practices to promote well-being and healthy lifestyle (University at Buffalo, n.d.) Important for self-care resources to be accessible (Bamonti & Keelan, 2014 ) Increase in self-care education increase students likelihood to succeed in building and developing healthy attitudes and practice (Uzuncakmak & Besser, 2017) Taking care of oneself helps one to be able to handle physical and emotional health better (NAMI, n.d.).
