Introduction Handling and storing materials involve diverse operations such as moving objects from one section to an other by manually or mechanically.

Introduction Proper material handling provide a continuous flow of parts and assemblies through the workplace and ensure that materials are available when needed. The improper material handling and storing of materials often result in costly injuries and company loss.

What should worker know before moving, handling and storing materials? Proper work practices. Equipment handling. Awareness of hazards. Awareness of accidents that may result from improper handling.
