Capturing Designated Supports for General Education Students General education students documentation: captured online via Mydata Portal (see Feb 16th WAIP) Deadline for March testing is March 10th (Just focus on capturing March STAAR designated supports) The completed online form requires electronic signatures from the teacher capturing the supports and a campus administrator. Capturing Accessibility Supports are not mandatory for use on STAAR. This form just provides an opportunity to document usage.

Locating Accommodations for SPED and 504 Accommodations are captured in EasyIEP and can be viewed in MyData Portal. You cannot assign embedded supports not listed on the IEP. The IEP is the official form of documentation. Please confer with your SPED and 504 chair to get accommodations for students that will test online.
Locating Accommodations for LEP Students LPAC documentation is captured on LPAC accommodation form. Please confer with your LPAC chair to get accommodations for students that will test online.
Locating the PEIMS Number in Chancery The Campus Data Controller can give you a roster of PEIMS numbers using report DSDR Social Security Roster (under Enrollment) To locate the PEIMS number of an individual student: search for the student’s name and the press enter. You will find the nine digit number in the overview section.

Students: View & Edit Search for Student Registrations Select the Test Administration Input the PEIMS number Select Search NOTE: You will have a better chance of locating the student if you only search by PEIMS.
Students: View & Edit Edit Student Registrations Select the edit icon to view or edit a student profile Edits can be made to: Student Information Test Information Districts may continue to edit existing student registrations, including switching between paper and online tests, through the end of the testing window

Personal Needs and Preferences (PNP) Edit PNPs for an Existing Student Registration Search for the student via the Students > View & Edit tab Select the icon in line with the student’s name Click on the Tests tab of the Student Profile Select any combination of PNPs as needed Click UPDATE when finished. NOTE: Changes to PNPs will be reflected on the testing group roster and the students test tickets available through the Online Testing > Manage Online Test tab
Reports: Precode Verification Report Lists all paper-based test registrations at the close of the precode window-one record for each precoded answer document that the district is scheduled to receive (serves as official record) – available at the campus level Organized by campus, subject, student (alpha order) will be with your precoded answer documents On Tuesday, April 21st , a DISD precode file of the changes since registration will be available to campus via Mydata Portal and as an excel email attachment.

OOD/OOS Examinee Registration Registration After Deadline OOD/OOS examinees may be registered directly in the Assessment Management System after the OOD/OOS registration period has closed via: New Student Registration (Students>Registration) Editing the Test Information (Test Registration Type indicator) of an existing registered student (Students > View & Edit > Tests tab) NOTE: Testing campuses will not receive precodes for students registered after the OOD/OOS student registration window has closed

Online Testing: Manage Online Testing Do Not Report (DNR) During the testing window: Click the DNR icon to indicate an online test that has been opened (in progress, inactive, or submitted status) and should not be reported (voided) If a test was marked DNR in error, a request to unsubmit the test may be made by contacting the Texas Assessment Support Center (for tests that were marked DNR in the last 2 hours, after 2 hours call TEA’s Student Assessment Division) After the testing window: Tests that were never started (ready to test status) will expire and automatically be voided Tests that have been opened but not completed by the end of the testing window (inactive status) will default to a score of S unless changed by the district through the Test Attributes or marked as DNR before the end of the window

Personal Needs and Preferences (PNP) Steps for updating PNPs after online test has been started: Log out of the online test Update PNP embedded supports (Tests tab) Return to online test group where the student’s test ticket is located Check the Sync Status to confirm the updates are synced with the online test Login with test ticket information to resume testing after “In Sync”
