Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Located at over 1,000 institutions throughout the U.S. Four year leadership program that directly results in a commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Classroom, Leadership Lab and Physical Fitness Goal: produce officers for the Air Force 4-10 year active duty commitment after college Guaranteed job with competitive benefits and pay Promote “Whole Person Concept” Time commitment: 8-10 hrs/wk
Scholarship Program 2011 National Results: Critical Tech Majors (100%) EE, CE, NE, Meterorology Type 1 Non-Critical Tech Majors (67%) Type 2 Must be enrolled in AFROTC to compete
Scholarship Program Basic Eligibility US Citizen Must have CGPA of 2.5 or higher Pass AFROTC Physical Fitness Test Meet weight/Body Fat standards Pass DoDMERB physical exam Must meet all other AFROTC standards: moral, ethical, Civil Involvements, etc.
