A pic showing your animal. Animal Facts Description Pythons are large and scaly. They have long bodies, usually 2-20 feet long. They come in many natural colors, starting from green, brown, and tan, to beige, yellow, and red. You can find pictures of pythons on the internet. Diet Pythons are carnivores. They eat things like mice and small birds. Movement Pythons are snakes, so they slither. They are the only animals that move like this. Sometimes, they slither quickly…to get away from predators. Pythons are prey to crocodiles and large birds. 1) Type a description of your animal 2) Type whether your animal is an herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore and what does it eat? 3) text telling how your animal moves 4) pic showing your animal 5)change fonts and colors to personalize. A pic showing your animal.

Habitat Map showing where your animal lives Picture showing your animal in its habitat. Pythons live in many places. Some areas are rainforests, deserts, plains, grasslands, and many rocky places. On safaris, you may see pythons by your safari vehicle. But don’t worry; pythons aren’t poisonous. If you are in a rainforest, you’ll see pythons there, too! 1) Map showing where your animal lives 2) pic of your animal in its habitat. 3) text telling where your animal lives, description of habitat, and any adaptations animal has to live in habitat 4) change fonts and colors to personalize.

Life Cycle Pythons look really cute as babies. However, when they hatch, it is a sickening scene. Goop and leftover yolk smearing all over the white snake egg can sometimes lead to an upset stomach. Python parents take care of 100 babies for 2 weeks. Afterwards, the babies can take care of themselves! A picture of the animal as a baby or young. Pythons are powerful creatures. An encounter with a python can strike fear into anyone’s heart, especially my teacher, Ms. Mueller. Pythons can’t hurt humans, though. They can grow really long! 1) Info about when animal a baby 2) pic of your animal as baby or when young 3) text telling about animal changes as growing into an adult 4) pic of your animal as an adult 5) change fonts and colors to personalize. A picture of the animal as a grown/ mature animal.

Animal Interactions When pythons get into fights, it can get pretty ugly. So every python has to have SOME way of protecting itself. One way pythons protect themselves is by strangling its intruder, until it runs out of breath and dies. If a python gets to a point where it has to retreat, it just quickly slithers away. Pic of animal adaptation that allows it to protect itself Write a caption for your picture explaining how animal protects itself Caption for your picture explaining if animal pictured is enemy, predator, prey, etc. Pythons aren’t the only predators around here! Do you see that tiger over there? That’s one natural predator a python has to face. Another predator is… you guessed it, the crocodile! Pythons fear the eagle too… any large bird will do. It may seem that pythons are the rulers… but they’re just the start! 1) Info about animal adaptation that protects your animal 2) pic and caption of an adaptation 3) text telling about another animal interaction (enemy, predator, prey, etc) 4) pic and caption of enemy, predator, prey, etc. 5) change fonts and colors to personalize. Pic of enemy, predator, prey, etc.

Interesting Facts Camo Party! Color Catastrophe Pythons aren’t always boring. In fact, pythons, in my taste, aren’t boring at all.. Because they can CAMOFLAUGE! They do this to hide from predators. Swimming Serpents Pythons aren’t only slithering serpents…they can swim, too! They cut through the water like torpedoes. Other pythons swim slower. They look like mermaids: long, wavy ‘tails’, and calming, soft colors. A pic to accompany fact #2 Color Catastrophe Some pythons can change color! Not by choice, but by age! One python species can change from red, to green, then to brown! 1) Fact #1 and picture 2) fact #2 and picture 3) fact #3 and picture 4) change fonts and colors to personalize.
