What is line? A point in motion. Varied widths and lengths. Line has the capability of infinite variety.

Why is line important? What other reasons can you think of ? The artist uses line to describe shape. We recognize shape by line. Line shows direction and movement. Line can create emotion in a work of art. What other reasons can you think of ?
