Australian Resources SS6G12 – Explain the impact of location, climate, distribution of natural resources, and population distribution on Australia.

Weather South of the Equator; in the Eastern Hemisphere The cold season is from June to September The Warm Season happen between December and March Australia has a Temperate Climate in the Southeast and Southwest – 4 clear seasons Tropical in the North Arid in the interior of the country, also called the Outback. Population distribution Due to the vast bulk of Australia’s center is dry and arid, majority of the population live on the coastal areas, particularly in the southwest, east, and southeast. Around 80% of all Australians live in urban areas.

Most of the population live in urban areas around big cities. The Bush is any location outside the main urban areas. The Outback is the remote areas beyond the Bush. The Australian outback takes up around 70% of the countries landmass and is populated by only 3%.
