Causes Chinese Civil War - China falls to communist Japan became the key to defending Asia Dividing Korea at 38th parallel – after World War II North Korea invades South Korea, to unite the country under communism

Containment Policy: Stop the spread of communism throughout Asia Use Military to support the policy
