History Dana Montgomery Anderson, a local of Baytown, Texas was a Navy Nurse who was stationed at Pearl Harbor in the later part of WW2. While treating the wounded in Hawaii she envisioned of opening her own medical supply store. When the war ended she came back to Texas and worked as a nurse where she would meet her future husband, a cardiovascular surgeon. Dr. Louis Anderson. They Married in 1948 and Fiji Medical Supply was opened in 1949. The name Fiji was taken from from the then British Colony which served as a major Pacific training base in WW2 where Dr. Anderson served.
