The Gospel of Thomas – same date What’s Not The Gospel of Thomas – same date These are the hidden words that the living Jesus spoke, and that Didymos Judas Thomas wrote down. And He said:  "Whoever finds the meaning of these words will not taste death.” (7) Jesus said, "Blessed is the lion which becomes man when consumed by man; and cursed is the man whom the lion consumes, and the lion becomes man."   (9) Jesus said, "Now the sower went out, took a handful (of seeds), and scattered them. Some fell on the road; the birds came and gathered them up. Others fell on the rock, did not take root in the soil, and did not produce ears. And others fell on thorns; they choked the seed(s) and worms ate them. And others fell on the good soil and it produced good fruit: it bore sixty per measure and a hundred and twenty per measure."

THE REFORMATION: 500 YEAR ANNIVERSARY The Beginning of Christianity The Gathering of the New Testament Canon The question of what was in the complete Canon continued until 367 AD In 367 AD Athanasius writes an Easter Letter and names all 27 Books of the New Testament as the proper Canon. This is accepted at several Councils over next 50 years Luther places James, Jude, Hebrews and Revelation at end of German Bible. (Still that way today)
