Psychology Graduate Internships Information for applicants – 2018/19 Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

What is a Psychology Graduate Internship? An internship is where an individual undertakes voluntary work to gain relevant professional experience before embarking on a career Develop professional skills and an understanding of a profession by undertaking work of value Entry Requirements: Psychology honours degree minimum 2:2 with GBC status Legally eligible to remain and work in the UK Duration: 1-3 days per week Minimum 3 months, maximum 12 months

Our hopes for internships: We provide fair opportunities for graduates to gain voluntary work experience Our services and patients benefit from having support from psychology graduates Our hopes for interns: You have opportunity for personal and professional development through supervision You gain relevant professional experience working within our teams that support your psychology career goals That you enjoy volunteering with our services

Can psychology undergraduates apply for internships? Our internships are only available to psychology graduates (including those who will have graduated by October 2018) We are also offering undergraduate placements: University assessed 40 weeks (including holiday) between second and third year (to meet specific Universities requirements) 4 days per week
