TRAFFIC JAM

OBJECT OF THE GAME MOVE ALL THREE MEMBERS FROM EACH SIDE TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE BY FOLLOWING ALL OF THE RULES

TRAFFIC JAM RULES STUDENTS CAN ONLY MOVE FORWARD TO AN OPEN SPACE STUDENTS CAN ONLY MOVE AROUND SOMEONE FACING IN AN OPPOSITE DIRECTION ONLY ONE PERSON PER SQUARE

REFLECTIVE QUESTIONS How would you feel if: 1. Someone in your group didn’t care if you solved the problem or not? 2. There were no rules for this game? 3. One group was given extra help to solve the problem?

APATHY - lack of interest and you don’t care

ANARCHY - total loss of organization or control

ACCOMMODATIONS - modifications made based on a need

Writing Assignment Write about a connection that you have to any of the three new vocabulary terms we have just learned from the Traffic Jam activity. APATHY ANARCHY ACCOMMODATIONS

Ideas to start your response
