Teacher model Take a moment and think about how massive advertising influences today’s youth. Advertising does have an effect on children since many companies spend millions of dollars convincing kids that their product is the best and coolest thing out there, but what also lies in the way is the fact that it can also affects how kids look at themselves. Also, advertisement and media too can affect the youth’s self-esteem and image as well. Children today are exposed to all types of advertisements on the various media. For example, the television, social media and internet as well. In fact, everyone is bombarded by advertisements everywhere. Children in general are more vulnerable and get easily influenced by advertisements. Television provides……. Social media is one of the largest….The internet is another huge…. Advertising is a form of marketing communication used to promote or sell something especially to the youth. Unfortunately, our youth is considered to be the main target for advertisements. Children are viewed to be defenseless and easily influenced by a stream of advertisements. Advertisement has a massive influence on today’s youth. Companies spend a great deal of money and time promoting and convincing children that its’ product is the best ever.
