Managing team budgets and expenses

Team Manager Role The Team Manager is responsible for setting and managing the team budget Each team has a base budget for standard team expenses (ice time, scrimmages, pre-registered tournaments, league fees, jerseys, admin fees, etc.)

Team Manager Role The Team Manger will modify budget for additional expenses (discretionary) Team Manager to submit team’s discretionary budget to Justin Messner by Wednesday, November 1, 2017

Team Manager Role The Team Manager shall maintain assigned team’s spreadsheet and compare with treasurer’s master spreadsheet at end of season Unused expenses refunded at end of season (April), overages to be collected by Team Manager and mailed to treasurer

Additional Expenses Additional expenses to be purchased by Team Manager and receipts emailed to Justin Messner at mviyhatreasurer@gmail.com Scan or take picture of receipt, reimbursement will be processed using Deluxe eCheck paperless check emailed to you

Additional Expenses Team apparel may be invoiced at Dave’s Sport Shop (Fridley) Isaksen Promotion (Shoreview) Lettermen Sports (Blaine) Invoiced orders must include: Team name (level & color) Team Managers name Invoice emailed to Justin Messner Entire team ONLY, no partial orders

Adding Events to Your Team Calendar Subtle change from NGIN related to event titles When adding an event, there is now no need to include team name in the event title. NGIN does it for you. Example: “Team Party” will show up on the subscribed calendar as “Mite-1 Royal - Team Party” Exception: When there are events with two or more team tags. In those cases, you need to include the team names in the title. Two teams arrange outdoor practices for the hockey season. They should title it as “Mite-1 Red, Mite-1 Royal - Outdoor Practice”
