Large Electric Generators

Toshiba Corporation announced its Chinese subsidiary, Toshiba Hydro Power (THCP), has won a contract to supply two hydroelectric generators, each with 667 MVA of capacity, to China Datang Corporation's subsidiary Datang Guanyinyang Hydro Power Development. The generators are to be installed at the Guanyinyang Hydro Power Station in the Yunnan Province. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in October 2014, while the power plant is to enter commercial operation in mid-2015.
