“Quotations” Quotation Marks: The “Pairs” Goals: enclose quotations/short titles Commas & Periods always go INSIDE quotation marks. Quotations are NOT used in plays or for well-known proverbs. Dialogue: Need new paragraph for each change in speaker. No quotation marks for indirect quotes.
