Cabinet indicators The Children and Youth Cabinet adopted six measures as benchmarks in January, 2017.

#1) Percent of low birthweight babies 2013 2017 Notes Source Percent of low birthweight babies 8.5% 8.8% Disparities by race / ethnicity in this variable Florida CHARTS Early Head Start Eligibility - *Eligible is defined as children from birth to age five who are from families with incomes below the poverty level, are homeless, and/or receive public assistance. Foster children are eligible regardless of their foster family’s income.
