BELL WORK Imagine that Germantown was located in a desert. How would your life be different? List at least 3 examples.

Nomads (Arab herders called Bedouins) have adapted to arid land for many years, They move from one place to another. Lived in tribes to survive the harsh climate What does it mean to be nomadic? What do you think determines where they travel to? An oasis is a desert area that contains water.

Ship : Ocean :: Camel : Desert Town-Dwellers Settled around an oasis or other fertile area. They traded across deserts with other communities. What, which is also called a “ship of the desert” do you think they used to travel across deserts?
