Lesson Plans for Wednesday, November 25, 2014 LARGE GROUP TODAY – You really can spend more time on this, if you want. I think it is important. – Show the CD – Section 3 – Immigration Boom Then go to http://www.census.gov/# What is the population today in the US What was it in 2010 What was it in 2000 Do the same for WORLD Population. What is the increase in each? US World? Look under topics and see what they are interested in Begin sessions In small group – read the article Immigration Boom through once, then choral read and they. The big teacher’s book tells you what to do. When there is Write and React, they write in their composition book. Have them share and emphasize good writing: Repeat key words Place periods and commas Use transitions Support with details Try to keep the groups at the same paste to make it easier on you. Move from day to day at your own paste. Follow the plans in the book. If you get to the end of the unit before Holiday Break , have students take that Unit test. PLAN B – IN CASE THE COMPUTERS GO DOWNN. Have students read about the Presidents of the US. And then show the CD’s about the Presidents. Start with George bec we haven’t used it.

Thank you for subbing for me. Dear Substitute, please contact me at nanoalchemy11@gmail.com if you need any help.
