Professional and Practice Development NMAHP Forum
History and Background PPDNF was established in the late 1990s with the purpose of bringing together nurses, midwives (and later, allied health professionals) interested in professional and practice development issues for support purposes, networking and ultimately to influence practice throughout Scotland.
PPDNF purpose The PPDNF is an independent community of practice in Scotland. It supports Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals to positively influence the Scottish Health Service agenda through practice development. This involves networking, communication and sharing of ideas, tools, expertise and values.
