Steps to Secure On-Campus Housing Submit Intent to Enroll (select Orientation date) Begin Housing Application, pay $50 application fee: Log-on to myCI account Select “Student Housing” link Sign License Agreement Over 18: electronic signature accepted Under 18: requires parent guarantor hard copy mailed to HRE office

Steps to Secure On-Campus Housing Initial deposit of $1,500, due by May 7. NOTE: Those meeting requirements will automatically be authorized to defer their housing deposit to a later date: Completed FAFSA by priority filing deadline (March) Federal expected family contribution (EFC) of $4,000 or less Submitted requested financial aid documents required as part of the verification process. Refer to your myCI To Do List to confirm information for submission to the Financial Aid office NO LATER THAN May 31 Due date for all fall 2018 fees is August 21: pay in full, or sign up for Housing Installment Payment Plan Move in August 24!

Important Dates August 24: Move-In Day! By April 14: Housing application opens! May 7: Priority deadline to apply for Housing May 31: Financial Aid priority document submission deadline June 11: Confirm roommate request in Housing application July 31: Enrolled in 9 or more units to retain room assignment July 31: Finalize mutual roommate selection within Housing application August: Complete Alcohol Edu online program August 21: Fall payments due for Housing, tuition, & fees August 24: Move-In Day!

Important Administrative Info Communication: All important information communicated via myCI email – check your junk/spam folder. Payments: The Housing application fee & deposit MUST be paid through the Student Housing application. Future fee payments can be made electronically via myCI student portal. We offer a Housing Installment Payment Plan (HIPP). The HIPP costs $33 per semester to use. Fall payments dates: August 21, September 21, & October 21.

Important Administrative Info Financial Aid: Refer to your myCI To Do List to confirm information for submission to Financial Aid. If you intend to use student loans and or parent plus loans, be sure to complete online loan counseling and master promissory note as soon as possible after accepting the award to avoid delays in loan funding. To retain deferred deposits you must have: submitted requested financial aid documents required as part of the verification process by May 31. Missed deadline notification emails will be sent from Housing in June, with a deadline for when the deposit payment is due. Students who pay after that deadline will lose their Housing priority and may experience assignment delays. Financial aid must fund by August 21 to cover Housing fees. If it does not fund in time, personal payment must be made until it funds. Account must be paid in full, or first Housing installment payment paid, by August 21.
