Example – Can you identify the parts? Roger Chillingworth is a vindictive man who is out for revenge. Hester learns that he is dead and allows herself to fall in love with another man and bear his child. When Chillingworth returns to Hester after being captured by Indians, he becomes enraged and seeks revenge on Hester and Reverend Dimmesdale, her lover.
