We recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live. Valentine’s Day – February 14th Due to only having 2 parties a school year (Christmas/Winter party and End-of-Year party), we will not be having a Valentine party. However, we will be exchanging Valentine cards and having a special snack. We will need a few items for our snack and a couple of activities we will do in class. Be on the lookout for an upcoming Sign Up Genius. Letterland: Unit Sixteen Students will learn words with silent magic e and Mr. A. It is important that you hang onto your child’s pre-spelling list as it comes home on Thursday. If you lose the word list, you can always go to our class webpage and print the list. ★★ ATTENTION CCE MOMS AND BEST GALS! ★★ Our annual BOWLING event is set to take place on Sunday, February 19th from 2-5 p.m. at George Pappas' Victory Lanes in Mooresville. This is a special event for our CCE boys and their mothers, aunts, grandmothers, or best gals. The event includes unlimited bowling, shoes, billiards, souvenir group photo, tour of the pinsetters and pizza/pasta/mini-corn dogs, fries and soda buffet. Tickets for this event are $18 per person. All payments and the completed pre-order forms are due back by Friday, February 10th. Please make checks out to Coddle Creek PTO. Nightly Homework Mid-year testing is finished and conferences are wrapping up. Please be sure to have your child read every night . Also, be sure to practice those mClass question stems at least once a week. For math, I highly recommend practicing addition /subtraction facts.
