Is a significant risk factor for physical injuries, as well as mental/nervous disorders. A psychologically safe and healthy workplace is an inarguable facet of a successful workplace . EAP and your organization’s TWH vision… What other workforce health programs does your organization have? What “problem statements” does each have? What do your stakeholders say? What data is (or isn’t) available? How can your EAP impact other program issues? Kaiser Permanente example: Increased positive contact from employee managers and colleagues improves disability leave outcomes but managers are often not certain whether or how to outreach to employees. Kaiser Permanente EAP helped to educate managers and provide tools to help leadership keep their disabled employees engaged in the workplace during their absences.
