Ambassador updates continued Next CYP Emotional Health and Wellbeing Network meeting: Thursday 8th February, 1pm to 3pm at Cambridge Road Agenda will include discussion on the CYP MH Green Paper and consultation Links to green paper and consultation https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations /transforming-children-and-young-peoples- mental-health-provision-a-green-paper The Government is asking for views on the Green paper setting out measures to improve mental health support for children and young people. Proposed changes will affect: Pupils, students and staff at schools and colleges Specialist mental health services Families and communities Plans include: A mental health lead in every school and college A new national partnership to improve the mental health of 16-25 year olds Improving the understanding of mental health Consultation closes 2nd March and we will be formulating a response at the Network meeting
