PJ DAY Help families get a good night’s sleep

WHAT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES DOES… Ronald McDonald House Charities provides accommodation to help families stay near their children, whilst they are being treated in hospital. The Charity was set up in the UK in 1989 and is an independent charity. Ronald McDonald Houses exist all over the world and can be found in over 60 countries. You may have seen coin collectors in McDonald’s, they have been our biggest corporate supporter for over 30 years. Ronald McDonald House Charities holds lots of exciting fundraising events that you can be part of!

INSIDE A RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE Ronald McDonald Houses vary from seven to 66 bedrooms. A Ronald McDonald House is more than just a place to stay, it offers comfort and support. Families can interact, brothers and sisters can make friends and the whole family can share their experiences. The Houses have space for the whole family - there are playrooms for children to play in, kitchens for parents to cook in and space to be together as a family.

HOW TO SEND YOUR MONEY IN After you have raised money there are many ways to send it in: Paying in slip – your teacher will be able to show you where to find one Shaker – ask your teacher for a Charity shaker to collect your coins in Sponsorship form – ask your teachers or parents to sponsor you!

THANK YOU FROM OUR FAMILIES The Stevens family stayed in the Cardiff House for 12 nights, while their daughter Isabelle was receiving treatment in hospital. “We would like to pass on our sincere thanks for making our stay at your accommodation an absolute privilege. You have made our stay at the hospital during Isabelle’s operation so much less stressful not having to commute home on a daily basis, even when our younger daughter was able to join us to keep our family together during this time. The House is everything you want it to be.” Thanks to your support Ronald McDonald House Charities can support more families.

Thank you for your support
