THE KARDIVAR DEVICE TO DIAGNOSE ISSUES RELATING TO THE NERVOUS, HORMONAL AND IMMUNE SYSTEM Jan Michael Kubín The KARDIVAR is a medical device which:        - Tells us how the body is coping with stress and potential risks for the body.         - Uses Heart Rate Variability (HRV) to measure the levels of stress and the potential affect this may have on the body.         - Can measure the efficiency of any therapeutic measures used to build up reserves in the body.

The Program KARDiVARu - HeartVue - To compliment the basic Kardivar test there is a program called HeartVue. In this training program I will explain the following: the scientific research behind this program and the Kardivar device. - Heart Rate Variability and why it is used? - How the Kardivar monitors, measures and evaluates the regulatory systems in our body. - What are the parameters in this test and how we analyse them. - How parameters differ for different diseases. - How you can determine the short and long-term risks, levels of stress and disease.

THE HISTORY OF HEARTH RATE VARIABILITY In China practitioners would manually take someones pulse to diagnosis problems in the body. The Russian and USA Space Research enabled us to electronically measure heart rate in milli seconds(ms). In 1996 the HRV research was verified in London and published in medical journals to become a world standard. There are a lot of manufacturers of HRV machines but many cannot measure heart rate in ms and do not have the critical mass for the software. The data for the Kardivar goes back to the 1950’s. The Kardivar is certificated as a medical device and has a Europe Certificate.

What is the Definition of Healthy HRV as assessed by the Kardivar gives us method to assessment of treatment. It enables us to assess potential problems before they actually happen in the body. A healthy body has full communication at all levels in the regulatory system. If unhealthy the body is not communicating in the regulatory system and the Kardivar can determine whether this is short or long term. The Kardivar quantifies the risks of the short and long-term stress

Vertical and horizontal level of management The goal for an individual is an optimal balance of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. This will ensure the body can adapt well to stress. There are two levels of management: - Vertical which runs from the central nervous system to the periphery and back again - Horizontal runs across different levels including the endocrine, hormonal and nervous system, When there is poor adaptability in these levels of management then there is the possibility of serious disease, especially "lifestyle diseases" such as hypertension, diabetes, hormonal imbalance, cardiovascular diseases, mental disorders, neuropathy……. even cancer.

Studies on HRV and where to find them Heart rate variability (HRV) Herzfrequenzvariabilität (HFV) Variabilita srdečního rytmu (VSR)

There are lots of studies relating to HRV to various diseases.

Summary The Kardivar: - Uses the Methodology of heart rate variability - Measures the differences in heart rate variability in MS - Can show changes in the self regulatory systems in the body Generally: - The lower the variability the higher the stress on the body. - This in turn indicates an increased risk of a number of lifestyle diseases.

How we test with the Kardivar - The client needs to sit quietly for 5 mins. - 5 minutes is the time necessary for us to obtain enough data for the Kardivar software to make a comparison and give the results; a) with standards     b) with earlier measurements  - The Kardivar can evaluate the structure and dynamics of communication
