Thin Client Network Overview
What is a Thin Client Network? Thin Client architecture is “cloud-based” architecture. In a Thin Client network, one computer (the Server) takes the computational role and many Clients share those computations. In using cloud-based architecture, the Server takes on the processing load of several client sessions, acting as a host for each endpoint device.
How do Nematron Thin Clients Fit In? Nematron provides certified industrial hardware that will boot to a thin client network, and will operate reliably under harsher environments than most office equipment. ePC15T and ePC19T are stand-alone thin clients with displays that contain no hard drive or operating system. UL508 (will be transitioned to UL 61010) Ordinary Locations approved. nPC10 is a thin client node that contains no hard drive or operating system. Requires a monitor to be connected to display video. UL508 (will be transitioned to UL 61010) Ordinary Locations approved. nPC20 is a thin client node that contains no hard drive or operating system. Requires a monitor to be connected to display video. UL Class I, Div 2 Hazardous Locations (ANSI/ISA 12.12.01) approved. Can also be configured to boot via PXE to a thin client network.

Supported Thin Client Platforms
Supported Thin Client Platforms ThinManager MultiSession Core ThinManager offers technology for IT professionals seeking better security and configuration of their thin client networks. MultiSession Core technology allows multiple sessions running anywhere on the ThinManager network to be viewed through one thin client. ThinManager can “tile” these screen views based on your settings. MultiSession allows you to view displays from different applications on the same client. The Nematron ThinManager-Ready configurations do not contain storage or operating system. They are configured for booting to a network via ThinManager protocol only. These are NOT standalone PCs. These products have been verified to be ThinManager LXi and ThinManager-Ready compatible. Comark does not supply ThinManager. For application support, please contact ThinManager directly at www.thinmanager.com. PXE-Boot Environment The Nematron PXE-boot configuration does NOT contain any storage or operating system. It is configured for booting to a network via the Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) protocol only. It is NOT a standalone PC. This configuration can be used for booting to a multitude of other Thin Client applications (other than ThinManager) using the PXE protocol. This has also been verified to be ThinManager LXi compatible. Comark does not supply Thin Client software applications.
