Big City Life LDC vs MDC

All major cities, in both LDC and MDC’s are bustling centers All major cities, in both LDC and MDC’s are bustling centers. Major cities never sleep. People are always on the move. The quality of houses range from mansions to huts/slums.

The biggest difference between cities in MDC’s and LDC’s lie in their ability to cope with the huge population. MDC’s cities have grown slowly and because these countries have substantial financial resources, the city has been able to develop adequate infrastructure. This includes Fire protection Roads Medical facilities Sewer systems Transportation

Big City Life in LDC’s LDC’s major cities have grown very rapidly and governments have not been able to keep up with people’s needs. They do not have resources to build adequate infrastructure. Half of the people in LDC’s cities live on the streets of in slums without proper shelter, water or sewage. Life expectancies are low.

Big City Life in LDC’s People take up their own method of survival of Informal economy by begging, shining shoes, busking, collecting recyclables, etc. Crime and prostitution are more common. Life in the Streets, Slums or Shantytown

Big City life in MDC’s In MDC’s, homeless people are provided shelters or tenement housing. MDC’s cities have more jobs! Millions of people live in MDC’s cities because they can earn decent living with good paying jobs. Travel by subway, bus, car, train, etc Enjoy restaurants, entertainment and decent homes.

Urban Poverty in MDC’s Even in MDC’s cities, you will find homeless people who live in conditions similar to people in LDC’s but the percentages are far less. Many people in cities struggle to make mortgage or rent payments. Shelters, welfare programs, food banks, show that although fewer people actually starve, they encounter many problems such as exposure to the elements, ill health, malnutrition, illiteracy. Etc/
