Definitions, limitations, and application. First Aid Definitions, limitations, and application.

Definition First aid is the delivery of initial care for an injury. It is usually performed by a non-expert. To a sick person. Until trained medical personnel arrive at the location of the injury. It can be life saving! It is generally done with a minimum of equipment.

Aim One aim of first aid is to save lives. A second aim is to prevent further harm. Another aim is to promote or act to encourage recovery.
