2018 Projects Support Multi-State Car Procurement Reissue revised Bi-Level PRIIA Spec Support Current Dual Mode Locomotive Procurement and update the PRIAA Spec Revise the Single Level PRIAA Spec Improving our fleet is a top priority at Amtrak. We plan to go to the market this year to consider options for new vehicles and rebuilds. Our top priorities include development of strategies for our P42 and Amfleet equipment. We are interested in the modern trainset options with various propulsion arrangements that could help create a flexible fleet type to meet the differing service needs across our network. Such trainsets are now the standard around the globe made and we hope will become broadly applicable to the U.S. market through FRA’s Tier III rule.

How We Can Improve Speed of the DCR process Reach Out to APTA/AAR etc. ? Document change request American Passenger Train Assoc and AAR. Amtrak is keenly aware of the commitment to support the States and the support it receives from the States. We want cooperate with your teams to make your State successful.
