1 - ‘My friend who has 3 houses is an electrician.’ Relative Clauses What are the differences (in meaning) between the two pairs of sentences? 1 - ‘My friend who has 3 houses is an electrician.’ 2 - ‘My friend Anthony, who is an electrician, has 3 houses’. 3 - ‘The classrooms which are on the 2nd floor are very big.’ 4 - ‘The classrooms, which are on the 2nd floor, are very big.’ ‘If you had been on time, you could have got a better seat. Maybe this is the only floor with classrooms – we don’t know! ‘If you had been on time, you could have got a better seat. Shouldn’t / Shouldn’t have ‘I shouldn’t have drank so much Soju last night. I feel terrible’. = It was the wrong thing to do ‘I should have listened to you. You told me not to drink that last bottle’. = It was the best thing to do
