PROSPECTS, FACTORS AND WAYS OF IMPROVING MIGRATION SITUATION IN UKRAINE CONCLUSIONS AND PROPOSALS REFERENCES

Tasks: to investigate causes and consequences of international migration of the population; to detect the main directions and centers of gravity of migrants in the world; to identify scale, dynamics and trends of the main migratory flows of Ukrainians; to analyze of the influence of wages on labor migration (Ukraine-EU); to research push - factors of migration in Ukraine; to fined ways of improving migration situation in Ukraine. The object of research is external migration of the population of Ukraine, its features and conditions for the formation of migration flows, taking into account the socio-economic and political provisions of the country.   The subject of the study is the process of forecasting the indicators of external migration, the assessment and impact of factors affecting external migration, and the size of the country as a whole.   The purpose of this research paper is determined on the basis of the relevance of the topic under consideration. It consists in forecasting and analyzing the results.

Pros and cons of migration for the exporting country: labor migration reduces tension in the labor market; reduction of poverty; promotes the quality of life of migrant families; stimulates the development of the economy due to the increase of solvent demand; financial transfers related to migration and their impact on Ukraine's development; transfers of migrants to Ukraine make up almost half of the budget of households. Cons: population losses at the most active age (‘‘brain drain”); contributes to the reduction of fertility; accelerating the aging of the population.

Ways of improving migration situation in Ukraine: increase of minimum wages for the population; improving the standard of living of the population; elimination of bureaucracy; job creation; decreasing of unemployment rate.
