They painted “beehives,” feasted on homemade blueberry enchiladas from A Handful of Stars, played with ”Fuzzy Mud,” and voted for their favorite VRC book. The result was a tie between Fuzzy Mud and A Handful of Stars! Be on the lookout for information on the GVES Library-Summer Reading Challenge! Your child will be bringing home instructions for this fun program to keep them reading through the dog days of summer! Students in grades K-2 have voted Glow: Animals with Their Own Night-Lights as their favorite Virginia Reader’s Choice book after reading all 10 in library!!
