Freshman Classroom Guidance Classroom Guidance: Expectations for high school Bridge Bill: State of Georgia requirement

Requesting a Meeting with the Counselor Students can request to meet with their counselor by filling out a green request form in the front of the Counseling Office and giving it to Mrs. Alexander, Counseling Secretary. The counselor will meet with the student at his or her earliest convenience. If the student has an URGENT NEED that must be addressed ASAP, let Mrs. Alexander know.

Scheduling and Course Selection Process In January, teachers in core subject areas will make recommendations for the following year (Ex: On- Level Lit vs. Honors Lit) February-March: Students may waive into another level class with an approved class waiver form February-March: Students select their electives and alternate choices via Parent Portal at home
